Best times to visit

To make the most of your day, we strongly recommend that you start your safari by car as soon as the park opens. It's in the morning that the animals are most active, and you'll avoid any traffic jams on the tracks on busy days. The safari tour lasts about an hour. Spring is an ideal time to observe the animals in a green setting.

Sleeping in the heart of the park: an immersive experience

A good deal for total immersion is to spend a night in the park. Thoiry has developed a number of unusual accommodations that put you right up close to the animals, in the quiet of the park once visitors have left: in the Tanières facing the bears, in the Loudges near the Arctic wolves, or in the Lodges with a view of the elephants.
