Tips for an optimal visit

As the museum is closed on Mondays, Tuesday is a very busy day. It's preferable to avoid it if possible. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are much less busy. Crowds are heaviest in the late morning, around 11am, and in the mid-afternoon, around 3pm. There is also a very high peak of activity in the evening, around 7pm, probably due to late-night events. 

Free admission

Admission to the museum and garden is free for under-18s and EU citizens aged 18 to 25.

Please note that free admission for all on the first Sunday of the month is only available during the low season, that is, from November 1 to March 31.
