Best times and tips to visit
The best time to visit the museum is when it opens at 11:00 am. The Thursday night opening (6-9pm) is also an excellent option for visiting temporary exhibitions with fewer visitors.
For very popular exhibitions, if possible, avoid the first three and last three weeks, when attendance peaks.
If you must come on a weekend, prefer Saturday to Sunday (often busier), and always aim for a morning opening.
