Zoo de Beauval
Visiting tips
How to avoid the crowds
To make the most of the park, it's best to arrive as soon as it opens at 9:00 am. On busy summer days, a good strategy is to reverse the direction of your visit: start at the back of the park (Australian greenhouse, Chinese area with the pandas, elephant plain) and gradually work your way up towards the entrance.
Tips for observing as many animals as possible
Remember to visit the giant pandas in the morning, as they are more likely to be napping in the afternoon. Spring is a particularly pleasant time to visit, as the vegetation is lush, while periods of extreme cold can make some chilly animals less visible.
Become a Caretaker for a Day
Caretaker for a Day (Adult and Junior): Spend a morning with the caretakers, helping to feed and maintain certain enclosures. Different packages are available for adults (from age 16, approx. 220€) and juniors (10-15 years, approx. 115€).
