For a more relaxed visit, it's recommended to avoid the first and last weeks of the major exhibitions, which traditionally attract the biggest crowds. Sundays are often the busiest, as the entrance ticket includes access to the nearby Jardin d'Acclimatation.

For greater peace and quiet, it's best to visit at the end of the day, or take advantage of the Friday night opening. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are also good alternatives.
